The Vertex 8.1M KU antenna that we feature this month is a favorite of TV broadcasters throughout the world. It is small enough to allow convenient shipping to any location on earth, but large enough to provide excellent gain for any earth station.
There is good news and bad news regarding this antenna, the bad news is that the reflector and radials need to be re-installed by an expert using a theodolite and the Vertex supplied parameters. The good news is that we have everything needed and we can install and certify the antenna at a fraction of the manufacturer's price. This careful installation process ensures the best performance of this excellent Vertex antenna.
The series of photographs shows a similar Vertex antenna before take-down at its original site, and then in the process of being re-installed for it's new owners in Miami.
Although this is not sold as a tracking antenna, we have the additional equipment that will allow us to quote for a full tracking system if required.
